    Description

    Great, unique necklace from colorful modernist artist,  Hungarian Pal Kepenyes, from his studio in Mexico. Prolific and outgoing (he once made a deal with tour guides to encourage well-heeled visitors toward him), Kepenyes made artful, truly skilled, components which he stitched into unique pieces, often "designed" on the spot by an eager client.
    This is a very nice mid-century example, a necklace of constructed links and three turquoise-laden amorphic shaped brutalist plates; natural turquoise are a spectrum of shades from cream to deep. The construction details are fascinating. 18" hook and eye closure, so nice comfort over the collarbone, not a deep drop. Nice over a turtleneck! Please review the pictures, ask us questions.
