Presented is a vintage c. 1970s mixed media necklace.
Where to begin on this one!
The oversize pendant features a hand-carved wooden face/mask in a sculptural Brutalist brass setting.
It hangs on a strand of beads that include marbled brown Bakelite, gold tone metal, and the same dark wood seen on the pendant.
The clasp is a 70s-era Art Nouveau style floral design.
There is a lot going on here, but somehow it all works!
A wild and definitely OOAK piece.
