at the top - a relief image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus; in the center - an open book, the pages of which are transformed into the leaves of a stylized nettle plant, in the center of the composition - a silhouette of a man; around the circle - inscriptions: at the top - RESPUBLIKA BELARUS; below - 20 RUBLES (on silver) and 1 RUBEL (on copper-nickel), year of issue (on silver - alloy fineness).
Reverse
on the right - a portrait of the Belarusian writer Kondrat Krapiva; on the left - a fragment of an epigram, in the lines of which are hidden silhouettes of the heroes of his satirical works, the years of the writer's life are indicated: 1896–1991; at the bottom - an inscription in a circle "Kandrat Krapіva".
