The coin is round in shape with a raised rim on the obverse and the reverse. The coin’s edge is grained.
Obverse: in the center — the relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus and the year of issue (the alloy standard on the silver coin) under it; and circumferential inscriptions: РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS) at the top and ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЕЎ (TWENTY RUBLES).
Reverse: in the center — the relief image of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic church in the village of Kamai and the stylized imprint of the dates of construction: XVII-XVIII; and at the top, in the left-hand side — inscriptions: КАМАI, ПОМНIКI АРХIТЭКТУРЫ БЕЛАРУСI (KAMAI, BELARUSIAN ARCHITECTURAL MONUMENTS) and the inscription at the bottom: КАСЦЁЛ ЯНА ХРЫСЦIЦЕЛЯ (ST.
