    Description

    This is an absolutely exquisite small brooch from the Victorian era. It is marked on the back he say F for the Franklin company. You can see by the “T”back pin hitch is longer than the brooch itself. Both of these are indicative of true Victorian along with a C clasp. It is an authentic over 100 year old piece. The painting is all handpainted it is NOT TRANSFER.  The subject is interesting to it looks like a young man who might be a young man of an earlier age. The detail in the painting is really exquisite. It is set in a gold metal beaded square frame. It has not been cleaned I do not clean any of my vintage jewelry you can clean it in the back of it if you get it. It is a lovely piece the “c”  clasp needs straightened it was bent down it’s up a little bit but it needs to be slightly straightened and turned I will not do this it’s just a simple matter of pliers or tweezers to do it. Thank you
