This is a stunning Victorian brooch. It is a lovely gold tone with scrolls and beautiful filigree. It has an oval inside of the brooch that is mesh and inside of that is a very fine gold chain that has flowers with tiny amethyst centers. This is a rare brooch that I have never seen one quite like before. It measures 2 3/4" long and 1 3/4" wide. It has an oblong amethyst which is beautiful and bright and then there are 4 tiny amethyst inside flowers. All of this is within the mesh. You have to see this brooch to appreciate it. The C Clasp is straight and secure.
