    Description

    This lovely antique  gold tone Victorian sash pin or brooch features an amethyst colored stone surrounded by the twisted rope and ball motif so popular in Victorian times set in a rectangular frame.  The pin measures  2 1/2" wide, 1 7/8" high, curves outward slightly and has a simple C clasp.  Total weight is 29 grams.   These pins are very often brass and this one has not been tested.
