Antique French Napoleon III Era Pin Brooch w/Paste Crystal Accents

This elegant antique brooch was made in France and features the countenance of an elegant prince framed by the open wings of an eagle. I believe this to be Napoleon II (Napoleon Francois Joseph Charles Bonaparte 1811-1832), known in the Austrian Court as Franz, Duke of Reichstadt, and nicknamed "The Eaglet", hence the eagle at the top of the piece.  The brooch has crystal rhinestone accents and a timeworn gold plated finish, as well as the original antique C-style pin back to wear as a brooch. You could also incorporate this onto a choker, necklace, add it to a jacket lapel, hat, etc... This is not a stamping, but a beautifully cast piece of jewelry. The brooch measures approx. 1 1/4" across, and while it could be lovely added to a display collection of antique jewelry, it is also wearable and ready to be enjoyed!
